The original Torrox village is located just four kilometres from the beautiful coast. Surrounded by gentle hills and at around 170 metres above sea level, you can still find a piece of authentic Andalusia. The narrow streets with their whitewashed and flower-decorated houses bear witness to the village's Moorish past. Numerous relics from that time can still be marvelled at, such as parts of the old city wall. But foodies also feel at home here. A public city bus, which is free for all Torrox residents, will take you from the top of the village to the beach at the bottom.
