Algarrobo Costa - general description

Yes, they still exist! Small, cosy but not boring. You won't believe it - see for yourself.
Like many villages on the Costa del Sol, Algarrobo Costa is divided into the neighbourhoods of Costa and Pueblo. The original Algarrobo is about 3.5 kilometres away from the coast, slightly elevated. Algarrobo Costa is a comparatively young coastal town. Beautiful beaches, a good infrastructure and the harbour of Caleta de Vélez, which is within easy walking distance, are just some of the highlights of this small coastal town. Cosy bars with a view of the blue Mediterranean and exquisite restaurants with freshly caught fish make the hearts of gourmets beat faster. Entertainment is also provided. The annual Oktoberfest attracts visitors from all over the region. A trip to Algarrobo Pueblo is also worthwhile. You can feel the heart of Andalusia in the narrow streets with their whitewashed houses. Small shops and hidden bars invite you to stroll and linger. And if you don't want to drive, a public bus will take you back down to the lively coast.
Modern and new downstairs - the romance of a white village upstairs. It's the mix that makes the difference.
