Description
This very authentic and completely renovated cortijo is located about 2 kilometres from Alcaucín at an altitude of 600 metres, directly at the Sierra Tejeda Nature Park. The main house, two holiday houses and the garage are located on the 8000 m² large and mainly natural plot.
The main house, an Andalusian farmhouse, has been lovingly renovated and modernised. Andalusian tiles, wooden windows and wrought ironwork create a unique flair. The modern oil central heating and a fireplace provide cosy warmth in the cold season. On 111 m² living space on two floors there are 2 bedrooms, the living room with fireplace, an office and a large and very cosy kitchen with dining area. Around the house are two sunny terraces and a solidly built summer kitchen with barbecue and Andalusian wood oven.
Slightly away from the main house are two holiday homes, each with one or two bedrooms and a terrace. Both are fully equipped and have very good rental potential.
For refreshment in summer, there is an alberca with its own spring, a former cattle watering place, which has been converted into a natural pool. A traditionally built water depot with 6000 litres is also included.
Furthermore, there is a large purely organic fruit orchard with various citrus trees, pomegranates, figs, grapes and many other delicacies on the extensive plot. There are also about 80 olive trees (also organic) on the finca with a crop of up to 2000 kilograms per year.
This Andalusian gem offers rural tranquillity combined with the possibility of a solid income through holiday rentals and organic farming.
Alcaucín offers everything for daily needs, medical care, a primary school and bus connections to the coast.
The beach can be reached in about 20 minutes by car, there are shopping centres nearby and Málaga is about 50 kilometres away.
